27908429_1730773663649249_82987940395392547_o-1

This is #TheSpiritedDress designed by one of my long time favourite bloggers Candice Ayala for her adorable daughter, known as The Spirited One.

The pattern was engineered by Ann Gross of Designer Stitch  and is available exclusively through One Thimble Magaine (Affiliate link)
One Thimble is the magazine masterminded by Jen and you can read all about it here

Details:

  • Queen Anne Neckline
  • Circle Skirt
  • Bonus little shorties/underpants
  • Can print in layers
  • Size 2-9 years
  • Structured Knit fabrics with no more than 30% stretch (I used a double knit)

My dress was made with a white double knit, my daughter had been asking for a white twirly dress and she loves tennis so much this was perfect for her little spirit.

It was HOT the day we took these 40^C / 104^F
luckily we went swimming right after!

My daughter live in dresses, these little shorties come with the pattern and they are the best, she loves them so much she will happily wear them on their own with a t-shirt.
They are perfect for inevitable moments like these with active little darlings.

Some actions shots, this girl asks everyday if it's time for tennis!

The Queen Anne neckline a distinguishing feature.

Here I go again!

I have tried starting a blog numerous times. I don't get very far because basically...

I would love to know who the artist is that created this because it just sums me up so perfectly, I love it and would like to give credit where credits due.

My husband sometimes wonders why I just stare at him with a blank look sometimes haha. I take an extra few seconds to process information.

And in a world full of content I am almost certain that I don't have anything much more to add.
I am not here to sell you anything, though it does contain affiliate links, which won't cost you anything, I will just make a small commission if you choose to buy something from one of the people I partner with. One day my mind may clear and my creativity can make something out of the mess in there that is worth something you don't already know or can easily find out about.

So why start a blog?

I like to sew. I like seeing other people's sewing. I might inspire you.

So I'll post about what I make and will provide links, sometimes they'll be affiliate links, I'll always let you know, they don't cost you any extra, if you're inspired to make something yourself.
